"I wish our Men didnt have to work on Valentines day" Dani said to her best friend Karrie
"Aww Dani you know its a good cause though" Karrie told her
"I know but its VALENTINES DAY" she huffed out
Karrie and Dani made their way thru the throngs of people milling around the winter faire in town.
"Ladies step right up and dunk the man in the booth" the annoucer said
Karrie took a ball and tossed it at the target and missed. The man in the booth shouted at her.
"Is that the best you can do? you throw like a girl" he taunted her
"you gonna take that?" Dani asked her
"Heres five dollars" Karrie said handing the money to the booth guy wich handed her five softballs
Karrie rared back and tossed the two softballs and missed again. the man in the booth kept laughing at her. Dani stopped her from throwing the third ball.
"Remember what Duane Lee told you about throwing the ball" She told her
Duane Lee Karries boyfriend loved sports. He and his family would play as much as they could and often got Dani and Karrie out there to throw and bat. Karrie shook her head at Dani and grounded her self and threw the third ball.
"CLING" right on the bulls eye and the man in the booth went in.
The man swam out of the dunking booth and slung water everywhere. Karrie rared back the last two times and the man smiled at her.
"CLING"
"CLING"
And he kept going into the water.
"Woah Karrie" Dani said in shock "Duane Lee really has taught you well"
Karrie and Dani went on walking and spotted another booth. It had a big red glittery heart that read Kissing Booth on it. Karrie drug Dani to it and they stood in line. They listend to the other women saying how hot the guy in the booth was and how they would spend their savings if they had to to have more than one kiss with him. Dani rolled her eyes at them all as Karrie laughed at her.
"Its for a good cause Dani" Karrie reminded her
"yes but, its valentines day" she said
"Im sure when Duane Lee and Leland are done working they will spend time with us" Karrie told her
Dani sighed and moved along the line. Karrie handed her some money for the booth.
"Sorry i forgot my wallet" Dani told her "ill pay you back when i get back to my place"
"Hey its ok. Maybe some kisses from this hot guy will cheer you up" Karrie told her nudging her along
"Its just not the same" Dani said to her best friend
Karrie and Dani were next in line. The man in the kissing booth looked at the two girls and smiled a big smile at them. Karrie walked up and gave the man money for the kiss. He leaned over and pecked Karrie on the lips.
"My boyfriend Duane Lee kisses me better than that" Karrie said back to Dani
"Hi" the man said to Dani when it was her turn
"Hi" she said back to him
"Whats your name?" he asked
"Dani" she told him
"I guess your my last kiss" he said
"I suppose so" she said
Dani handed over the money to the money taker. And then they Heard the guy on the loud speaker tell everyone that the Winter Carnival was now closed. The man in the kissing booth smiled at Dani and placed his hands on her cheeks and brought her close to him.
"Happy Valentines Day Dani" he said as his mouth came onto hers and soon their kiss turned deep
As they were kissing and Karrie watching them smiling she was rushed from behind buy a very wet Duane Lee. She spun around and came face to face with him.
"Dunk me three times will ya?" he said
"Hey like i kept telling Dani here it was for a good cause" Karrie told him
":your pitch has really improved" he told her
"Yep i got a good teacher" she said as they kissed each other
"why dont we get out of here and go to dinner" Duane Lee told her
"sounds good to me, but me and Dani need to go get dry and beautiful" she told him
"ok, HEY LITTLE BROTHER STOP KISSING YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND COME ON" Duane Lee yelled "oh and by the way Happy Valentines day Karrie" Duane Lee told her kissing her again
"CAN I HAVE YOU ATTENTION PLEASE THIS YEARS CHARITY WINTER CARNIVALS TOTALS WERE 25,OOO DOLLARS. THANKS TO THE CHAPMANS FOR THEIR HELP IN THIS YEARS EVENTS." The chairman of the carnival announced
"You were my best kiss all day" Leland told Dani
Dani Giggled at her boyfriend.
"This is the last time i let Dad talk me into doing this and it was on Valentines day" He said coming out of the booth
"It was for a good cause, so the kids here can go and see they doctors they need" Dani told him
"Yea but i wanted to spend it with you" He told her
"Oh little brother you got to kiss all day i was dunked and all pruny" Duane Lee told him "and besides last year you were tapis date and this year you got Dani who is way more good looking i might add"
As they walked Karrie and Dani to the cars the girls stopped and stared. on top of each of their cars was a huge boquet of red roses. Dani turned to Leland who circled her waist with his arms and kissed her deeply slipping his tonge into her mouth. Karrie came to Duane Lee who was smirking at her. She had tears in her eyes. He brought her to him and kissed her probably about the smae as Leland did Dani.
"You didnt think we'd forget our fave girls on valentines day did ya?" They asked the girls
"Well we knew you had to work and then youd probably take us out later today after the carnival and you got rested" Karrie said as they made their way to their cars.
"Well yea but we couldnt not do something for you" Duane Lee said to her
Leland handed Dani her roses and Duane Lee handed Karrie hers. All the sudden Dani squeeled and Jumped on to Leland.
"What?" Karrie asked
"I think she found the present Leland hid in the roses" Duane Lee told her
"In the roses?" Karrie asked just looking down at hers and saw something sparkel in hers.
Karrie looked more closly and say a diamond heart. She plucked it out of the roses and held it up.
"OH MY GOD" Karrie screamed holding the diamond heart necklace in her hand.
Karrie kissed Duane Lee hard on the lips and she twirled around and held her hair up. Leland was clasping the same necklace onto Danis neck as Duane Lee was karrie.
"I love you" Karrie and Dani both said to the boys.
"we love you too" they said
"Happy Valentines Day" they each said hugging and kissing one another
